As a hair designer, I have learned that my job is to not just to make people look their best but also to help them feel their best. Throughout my 20 years in the beauty industry, I have been fortunate enough to train under and work for some well-known designers and hair care companies. Some of those companies include Bumble & Bumble, Goldwell, Schwarzkopf, Framesi, Redken, Crew, Paul Mitchell, Matrix, TIGI, Pivot Point, Logics, and Wella. Artists I have trained with include Michael Gordon (B&B), Michael Cole (Redken), Mario Tricoli, Albie w/John Sahag (Sahag), Robert Cromeans (Paul Mitchell), Beth Menedi (Redken), Wayne Grund (Grund Haircare), and others.
My most memorable experience was training and educating under Wayne Grund Design. It was with that company that as an educator, I perfected my skills with the use of my favorite tool, the razor. Razor cutting allows me true sculpting and shaping by rendering a more artistic and personalized hair design. Although I believe that all tools have their advantages, my love for razor cutting drives my passion for delivering an inspired look. I believe combining hair color with a great haircut brings an envisioned hair design into maximum fruition.
My clientele remains diverse in scope: classic to edgy as well as young to the young at heart. I believe I avoid burnout by aligning my skills to be well rounded in order to accommodate all looks of life. Diversity keeps me in touch with current trends and fuels my right brain to embellish clients with the assurance that they always have options.
